Communication as Entertainment?

Communication as Entertainment?

What an odd concept to most people.  My daughter and I are moving into a new home near a childhood friend of mine.  My friend was telling me about cable options.  She was shocked that I said we haven’t had cable services in years and I doubted that I would subscribe now.  She then asked what we do for entertainment.  How does anyone survive without cable?  She was in shock when my daughter answered, we talk, communicate, you know.  It is amazing in this age of technological overdose that a teenager is content with talking to her family, and even more considers our communication entertaining.

How does your family entertain themselves?
