What’s your greatest fear?

When I think of fear, I reflect on the poem “Our Greatest Fear” by Marianne Williamson. I had to memorize this empowering poem along with my students when I taught at an all boys charter school.
Ms. Williamson’s words are so true. Our greatest fear isn’t failure, it’s success. She says, “Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.”
So true. Yet, most of us do not believe in ourselves. We feel we aren’t good enough or worthy of success. Who needs enemies with such self doubt?
I encourage you to believe in yourself even if no one else will. I leave you with these empowering words from Ms. Williamson “We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.”
That attitude is contagious.
In the author’s words,  “As we are liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.”
May we all be liberated!
