It’s what’s on the inside that counts.
It was my birthday today. As I opened a few beautiful packages in brilliant wrapping, I realized that the decorative outside is only a temporary illusion to what is inside the package. I pondered the clique of “It’s what’s on the inside that counts”. That is so true. Whether it be a friendship, a budding romance, business partnership, a person’s true character will make or break the relationship,
The inside will eventually be seen despite how appealing the outside may be; finding and being your authentic self may not be easy but it’s best.
